Marla Roll, M.S., OTR
Director of Assistive Technology Resource Center (ATRC)

Marla has spent her 12 years in the Department of Occupational Therapy overseeing the services of the Assistive Technology Resource Center (ATRC). As director of the ATRC, she coordinates the following services for the CSU campus:

•  Assistive technology resources and information

•  Adapted computing evaluations and training

•  Assistive technology equipment loans

•  Consultation on accessible web design and ergonomic and ADA considerations in computing environments

•  Assisting CSU faculty and staff with making programs, information, and materials accessible for students with disabilities

She also works with the Occupational Therapy faculty to develop and integrate curricular content around assistive technology theories and application. Additionally, she employs Occupational Therapy graduate students to assist with delivery of assistive technology services.

Marla recently served as chair of the Colorado Assistive Technology in Higher Education Subcommittee and frenquently presents at a state and national level.

Personal time is spent enjoying the outdoors and nature through mountain biking, travel, camping and skiing. Most of all, she enjoys spending time trying to keep with her energetic young son.
