Lisa Daunhauer, Sc.D., OTR
Assistant Professor

Dr. Daunhauer joined the faculty in 2004 after completing her doctorate at Boston University's Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Science, where she was a Maternal and Child Health Trainee (fellowship).

Lisa's research interests include the effects of early environments on development, particularly neurological development. Her doctoral research was an investigation of children living in extreme deprivation in Eastern European orphanages to better understand their developmental status through traditional standardized assessments, naturalistic observations, and caregiver-child interactions. Lisa's teaching experience is in pediatrics and research.

Dr. Daunhauer teaches Occupational Therapy Process (foundations of clinical practice) and Evidence-Based Research.
